To help get a jump start on getting you with the right therapist we would need you to send a copy of your I.D. and your insurance card to admin@lifebalanceandbeauty.com. Our Clerical assistant will follow up with you within 24 hours. If you plan to private pay/cash for your sessions please notate that information along with the therapist you prefer if any, and a little as to why you are seeking a therapist. This is to ensure that you are aligned with a therapist that is most qualified for your needs.
We pride ourselves on having life balance. Therefore our therapists work hours vary. We try our best to meet your needs and availability. This could be morning, noon, evening or weekends.
Typical sessions can range from 30 to 50 minutes long.
Online counseling is great! Our online database allows us to have HIPPA compliant sessions via video stream. This is done through our online portal. You will receive a link to your email or by logging in to your portal. Just open it up, click the link and we are connected. It’s really just that easy! If you decide to use your phone we do ask that you download the app to insure easier use. However, you can still use your browser if you choose.
We do not prescribe medications but we can definitely refer you to our community partners to meet your medication needs.
If you are unable to make it to an appointment and you do not cancel within 24 hours you will be charged full price for your session. With that being said, we definitely understand that emergencies happen such as family, accidents, and surprise health issues! We understand and would try our best to reschedule your appointment within a week.
Many have asked as to why a person would choose to private pay versus using their insurance. One answer is that all insurances require the client to have a clinical diagnosis in order to be eligible for services to be paid for. As a private pay or cash pay client you don't have to have a diagnosis a part of your medical records which provides a comfort of privacy fo treatment. Another reason is that some people do not hav insurance or do not have mental health coverage. Either way we are here to service you no matter what you decide.
We work with children as young as 5 years old through adults.
