Brigit Towey, MS, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor in Riverview, FL, serving clients in Wesley Chapel, Tampa, and surrounding areas. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy, family counseling, and parenting support for children, teens, and adults.

Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Brigit helps clients navigate trauma, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and family conflict using structured, evidence-based approaches that create real, lasting change.

She is also a certified trauma-informed care educator and a trainer for Florida’s Adoption Competency Certification Program, with extensive experience supporting adoptive families and complex family dynamics.
